A full monkey pod salad set, one big twelve-inch bowl and seven smaller ones, all hand-carved from the same warm, richly grained wood. Monkey pod was the serving wood of the sixties and seventies for exactly this honey-and-walnut figure, and because each piece is cut by hand no two are quite alike. Toss a salad for the whole table, then leave the set out afterward, since good wood like this looks like decor on its own.
