Vintage Monkey Pod Wood Salad Bowl Set with 7 Bowls Hand-Carved

A complete monkey pod wood salad bowl set — one large serving bowl at 12″ across and seven individual 6″ bowls, all hand-carved from the same richly grained hardwood. Monkey pod was the material of choice for this style of serveware in the 1960s and 70s — prized for the dark honey-and-walnut grain variation that no two pieces share exactly. Sets like this were made to use, and they hold up.

Put it out for a dinner and it looks like you thought about it. Leave it on the counter and it looks good empty.
