We're in our build-out and the shop is temporarily closed — but we're still very much open for business. Shop online and we'll ship it to you, or text 203-307-5385 and we can meet you in town. We'll see you in Fairfield this spring.

The new space

After starting in Black Rock, Bridgeport, Loom is moving into a new space at 1139 Post Road — in the Brick Walk, right in downtown Fairfield. Designed around what Loom does best: curated vintage home decor, furniture, lighting, and natural fiber clothing.

Every piece in the shop is handpicked. We carry things with real history and real character — brass, glassware, original art, solid wood furniture, and clothing in linen, wool, cotton, and silk. Nothing synthetic, nothing fast.

The shop opens spring 2026. Until then, everything is available online and ships nationally.

Solid wood pieces, cane-back chairs, vintage lamps and sconces. Built to a standard that's hard to find new at a reasonable price.

Original art & mirrors

Oils, watercolors, needlepoints, lithographs — originals only. Florals, coastal scenes, portraits, botanicals. Every piece one of a kind.

Natural fiber clothing

Linen, wool, cotton, silk, cashmere. The requirement is natural fibers and excellent condition. Nothing synthetic, nothing fast.

While we're in our build-out

The shop is temporarily closed but we're shipping nationally every week. Browse the full collection online, or text us if you'd like to meet in town — we can arrange a time.

The Brick Walk neighborhood

A few of our neighbors at 1139 Post Road and nearby:

Ring's End

Same building as us. If you're redoing a room, they have the paint, the wallpaper, and the people to help.

Molto

Italian, outdoor patio, marble bar. Good for a long lunch or a glass of wine after you've been shopping too long.

Chip City

Cookies. Enormous cookies. You'll walk in for one and leave with four.

Flipside Burgers

Straightforward, really good burgers. Exactly what you want when you don't want to think about it.

Mecha Noodle Bar

Ramen and noodles, great for a quick lunch in the middle of a Post Road afternoon.

Brick Walk Tavern

The neighborhood bar. Comfortable, unpretentious, and great food. A good last stop.
