About Us @ Loom
About Loom Vintage
Loom started with me, Lilly. I was born and raised in Bridgeport and have always been drawn to pieces with history — solid brass, real wood, natural fibers, and objects that show their age in the best way.
What began as a small online shop grew slowly and intentionally. In 2025 Loom opened its first retail space in Black Rock. Opening in my hometown felt full circle.
I'm a wife, a mom to my son Julian, and usually estate sale hunting or heading to swim class. Our shepherds Poncho and Lyla keep things lively. I do it all — so if I seem frazzled, don't mind me!
What we believe
Choosing Better Matters
Loom is built around a simple idea: the things you bring into your home should be worth keeping. Natural fibers, lasting materials, pieces already made well — instead of disposable things that don't hold up or hold meaning.
Vintage isn't just an aesthetic. It's a different relationship with objects — one where quality is already proven, where character is earned, and where choosing something used is almost always the better choice.
"Solid brass, real wood, natural fibers, and objects that show their age in the best way."
Every piece we carry is chosen for its quality, character, and ability to age beautifully over time. If it doesn't meet that bar, it doesn't come in.
The people
A Family Effort
While I run the day to day, Loom has always been built on people I trust. We're a small team — and that's intentional. Along the way we've had help from so many friends and family who've shown up and pitched in — Dina, Bryan, and Darek, who help whenever I call, those that helped during summers and holidays, and Allison, who takes the beautiful photos that bring our pieces to life. None of this happens without all of them.
My husband and my everything. He has a job he didn't ask for but someone has to move the heavy stuff. None of this would have started without his love, encouragement and support.
Deep vintage knowledge and an incredible eye. My sister loves to travel and brings back treasures from around the country and Europe — she's the reason we don't miss the good stuff.
A true renaissance woman — tailor, upholsterer, and the person who jumps into any project. Helps me with everything business and personal. None of this would be possible without her.
Cousin, BFF, and the reason Loom has a social presence. Always taking photos, shooting videos, and posting stories — a busy marketing exec and toddler mom who somehow always shows up for me.

What We Carry
Loom carries curated vintage home decor, furniture, lighting, and natural fiber clothing. Everything is one of a kind — chosen by hand, not by catalog.
Home Decor
Brass, ceramics, glassware, art, mirrors, and objects that earn their place on a shelf.
Furniture
Solid wood, well-made, structurally sound. Pieces that improve with age, not despite it.
Lighting
Table lamps, sconces, floor lamps with good bones — pieces that change the feel of a room.
Natural Fiber Clothing
Linen, wool, silk, cotton, cashmere. Vintage is a bonus. Natural fiber is the requirement.
