The Loom Estate Edit
An in-home consultation designed to bring clarity before any larger decisions are made. We walk through the home together and give you a clear, honest plan.
In-Home Walkthrough & Plan
Consultation$350 flat fee — credited toward commission if you move forward with a full estate sale
We visit the home and assess the contents room by room. You'll leave with straightforward guidance on what's worth selling, what's best donated, and what should simply be removed — along with identification of higher-value pieces and where they'll perform best.
- Room-by-room walkthrough, up to 2 hours
- Honest guidance: sell, donate, or remove
- Identification of standout pieces for Loom's shop, website, Instagram, or vintage marketplaces
- Same-day written recap with key callouts
Not every home needs a full estate sale. Sometimes this one step is the most valuable thing you can do.
Full service
Estate Sales
A curated, full-service approach to selling the contents of a home. We prepare, price, and present — with the same editorial eye we bring to the Loom shop floor.
Curated Estate Sale
In-home + OnlineCommission: 60% Loom / 40% client — consistent across all channels
We thoughtfully prepare and stage the home, price items to reflect their true value (not discounted for speed), and host a clean, organized sale. Standout pieces may also be placed through Loom's online platforms — our website, Instagram, Etsy, and eBay — to reach the right buyer and achieve stronger pricing.
- Full staging, organization, and pricing of the home
- In-person sale, typically Friday–Sunday
- Select pieces sold through Loom's online channels for maximum return
- No rush discounting — items are placed where they'll perform best
- Post-sale accounting and client payout
We are selective about which homes we take on. Quality of contents, condition of the home, and timeline all factor into fit.
Add-ons
Additional Support
When needed, we offer limited additional services for existing clients — and trusted referrals for anything beyond our scope.
Pre-Sale Clearing
For a small number of non-sellable items identified during the consultation, we can assist with light removal — bagged items or small furniture — to help prepare the home. Offered as an add-on for existing clients only.
Donation Coordination
Whenever possible, we redirect usable items toward local charities rather than disposal — including organizations like Habitat for Humanity. We coordinate lightly so nothing useful goes to waste.
Referrals for Larger Needs
For full home clean-outs, dumpster rental, or heavy hauling, we'll connect you with trusted local providers. These services are handled independently and coordinated directly with the provider.
Process
How It Works
A simple four-step process designed to feel manageable from start to finish.
We begin with an in-home consultation to walk through the contents and create a clear plan. $350 flat fee, credited if you move forward.
Room by room, you receive honest direction: what to sell, donate, or remove — and which pieces may perform best through Loom's channels.
If it's the right fit, we move forward with a curated estate sale and strategic online placement. No pressure, no rush.
We handle organization, staging, pricing, and selling — placing every piece where it will achieve its best outcome.
Our system
How Every Item Finds Its Place
Every piece in the home follows a clear path — nothing gets lost, discounted blindly, or thrown away unnecessarily.
"Not every item needs to be sold, and not every home requires a full estate sale."
We focus on what will generate meaningful return while helping you thoughtfully move through the rest. By editing with intention, we create a process that feels manageable — and results that reflect the true value of the pieces within the home.
