Vintage Faultless Electric Desk Fan, Sage Green Metal, Mid-Century

A sage-green metal desk fan by the Faultless Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, all rounded Deco curves and honest industrial character. Four steel blades behind a domed wire cage, a bulbous vented motor housing, and a weighted pedestal base with subtle streamline ridges. The original green wrinkle-finish paint has softened to a chalky patina that no reproduction gets right.

Best of all, it works. Set it on a shelf, a desk, or a windowsill for a hit of vintage industrial color that actually earns its keep on a warm day. The original maker's label is still on the housing.

In working order and running. The original cloth-wrapped cord is worn and would benefit from a rewire, an easy job for anyone who works on vintage electrics, and something we'd recommend before regular use. Cosmetically it carries honest age with paint wear and light surface rust on the cage.
