Good vintage condition. Some wear consistent with age.

Oven Proof Japan, impressed on the base of each piece
A matching mug and bowl in brown and cream stoneware, made in Japan. The glaze fades from caramel brown at the rim down to cream, and each piece has a little figure in a sombrero printed in black. The one in the bowl sits at the bottom, so it shows up as you finish your cereal.
Use them for breakfast or soup, or split them up on an open kitchen shelf.
