A dreamy garden scene drawn in fine, delicate pencil-like line work. A thatched summerhouse with a pointed finial is nearly swallowed by climbing roses, with a little bench tucked inside, a shady path winding past and Japanese anemones blooming in the corner.
It's a vintage print with a small red studio seal stamped in the lower margin. It sits in its original carved wood frame with a silver-painted zigzag border, the kind you see on pieces from the 1920s and '30s.
Soft, quiet and very English cottage garden. Lovely on a bedside wall, in a reading nook or mixed into a gallery wall of botanicals.
