A hand-built, hand-painted cylinder vase from Tonala, Jalisco, one of Mexico's great folk-pottery towns, signed CAT on the base. The slender cylinder is less common than the usual rounded Tonala vessel, and the floral work is fine and precise. Fill it with stems or let it stand alone as the piece of folk art it is.
