The Real Mother Goose with Blanche Fisher Wright's illustrations, the edition generations of kids grew up on. Rand McNally first printed it in 1916 and kept it in print for decades. This copy is the sixty-third printing, from July 1975.
The checkerboard cover is the one people remember, with Mother Goose riding her goose and a baby along in a basket. Inside are the classic rhymes with Wright's color illustrations throughout.
A sweet one to read aloud, or to stand up on a nursery shelf.
