A hand-thrown studio pottery bowl with bold geometric brushwork — a blue zigzag border, a radiating sunburst center, and bands of olive-yellow and soft brown over a speckled stoneware body. Signed on the base by the potter. The pattern nods to Mediterranean and Moroccan folk ceramics, but the hand-thrown weight and painterly individuality are pure studio work. Serve from it, fill it with fruit, or set it out as a handmade object with real presence on a shelf or table.
