ConditionVery good antique condition. Frames are solid and the round seats have been freshly hand-caned; light wear consistent with age.

A pair of Victorian Eastlake side chairs in walnut, each with an incised crest, burl-walnut panels, and a round hand-caned seat set on turned faux-bamboo legs. The caning is fresh and tight, and the two make a natural set at the ends of a table, flanking a console, or as pull-up seating in a bedroom. Small in footprint but full of that carved 1880s character.
