A well-matched pair of Colonial Revival armchairs in dark walnut-stained wood, c. 1920s to 1930s, newly reupholstered in authentic 1960s linen. The carving is confident throughout: pierced splat backs, scrolling arms, carved knees, and ball-and-claw feet drawn from the Chippendale tradition. The two match closely in depth and proportion, and a genuinely matched pair at this age is far harder to find than two singles. Anchor a room with them.
