ConditionGood vintage condition. Solid frames with wear consistent with age. Removable seat cushions show fading to the tapestry.

A pair of Chinese rosewood corner chairs with a continuous horseshoe back that sweeps into out-turned arms.

The back supports are pierced with hand-carved openwork splats in a floral motif, and the frames are joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon work, no nails. The drop-in seats have removable cushions in a faded tapestry, easy to recover in whatever you like. Sold as a pair.

Corner chairs tuck into spots nothing else fits. Put them in an entry or on either side of a fireplace.
