An original hand-painted floral bouquet, signed and dated "Mimi Engelson '61" in the lower right. Fluffy carnations in yellow, raspberry and tangerine sit at the heart of the arrangement, with pink roses and rosebuds, coral blossoms and tall sprays of lilac and white flowers rising behind them.

It's done in fine black ink line work with watercolor and touches of opaque white, on warm peach paper. The loose, lively drawing has that charming early-'60s feel. It comes in a wide champagne silk-covered mat, ready to drop into a frame.
