A large oval toleware tray by Nashco Products of New York, hand-painted by Van with a lush floral spray in pinks, yellows, and blues over a soft beige ground with antiqued gold edges. The original Nashco label is still on the back. Use it to corral keys and mail, serve drinks, or hang it as the folk painting it is. A signed piece of mid-century American tole.
