A well-made walnut desk organizer from the fifties or sixties, with five sculpted wells, two turned pen pegs, a velvet-lined cradle, and a rail along the back for envelopes, all in clean Eames-era lines and dark chestnut grain. It gathers up pens, cards, and mail and makes a desk look as considered as it is tidy. The sort of quiet mid-century polish a workspace is better for having.
