An original on canvas by Per Arnoldi (Danish, b. 1941), the Copenhagen painter and graphic designer known for bold, flat color and some of Scandinavia's most famous posters. Layers of yellow, from deep mustard to pale lemon with loose drips, are divided by hand-drawn charcoal lines and anchored by a red square and a tall orange-red bar.
Signed "Arnoldi" and dated 1981 on the back. In the 1980s it hung in the Fifi Oscard Agency, the New York talent and literary agency.
Unframed on its original stretcher, wired and ready to hang.
