An original acrylic on canvas by Per Arnoldi (Danish, b. 1941), the Copenhagen painter and graphic designer known for bold, flat color and some of Scandinavia's most famous posters. A deep charcoal-black field is crossed by a white band, with gray uprights and blocks of red, yellow and cobalt blue stacked below.
Signed "Arnoldi" and dated '79 on the back. In the 1980s it hung in the Fifi Oscard Agency, the New York talent and literary agency.
Unframed on its original stretcher, wired and ready to hang.
