A 1980 campaign button from Edward "Ted" Kennedy's run for the Democratic presidential nomination, when he challenged incumbent Jimmy Carter. Simple white lettering and stripes on a blue ground, "Kennedy '80." A piece of a memorable intra-party primary fight that went all the way to the convention. This one is well-worn: heavy surface scratching, paint loss, and a spot of rust bleeding through near the center, all shown in the photos. Pin intact. Priced as an honest, well-loved example rather than a mint one.
