A hand-painted Italian covered bowl splashed with big, painterly blooms — oversized poppies in sunny yellow, tangerine, and soft dove grey with loose black outlines wrapping the whole pot, topped by a smoky grey domed lid and knob. The watercolor-style brushwork gives it a fresh, mod 1960s feel that plays beautifully with today's color-drenched interiors. Signed "Italy" on the base. Sweet as a sugar bowl, a lidded catchall on a vanity or desk, or just a little standalone hit of color on a shelf.
