Gene Wilson Carved Wooden Cookie Molds — Set of 3 Springerle Presses

A set of three hand-carved wooden cookie moulds by Gene Wilson — known as America's woodcarver of cookie and butter molds. Each block is cut in the old springerle tradition, pressing intricate designs into shortbread and springerle dough: a stag among the branches, a gliding swan, and a long-tailed bird. Gene Wilson's molds are prized by bakers and collectors alike, and his retired designs get harder to find every year.

Beautiful in use, and just as good displayed on a kitchen wall between bakes. As with everything here, there's only one set — when it's gone, it's gone.
