Bricklayers Union Delegate Pin, Antique Gilt Badge

An ornate delegate badge from the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers union (BAC), the kind worn by a voting delegate on a union convention floor. A gilded, scrolled frame surrounds a white "DELEGATE" panel, with a red, white, and blue ribbon remnant at the base. Lovely early-to-mid 20th century craftsmanship in the heavy repoussé metalwork. The union is identified on the reverse. A characterful piece of American labor history for a collector of union or political memorabilia, or history in a shadowbox. Shows honest age: ribbon frayed and shortened, some wear to the gilt.
