A matched pair of solid cast brass wall sconces. Each backplate is a scalloped shell topped with a fleur-de-lis, sweeping into a scrolled arm with a taper cup and drip plate.
The casting is generous and detailed, in the French and Hollywood Regency tradition. The unlacquered brass has aged to an even golden patina. Made in India.
Hang them on either side of a mirror, a mantel or a doorway and light them with tapers.
