Excellent vintage. Glossy hand-painted glaze bright and clean, coin slots and new cork stoppers intact, with only light wear consistent with age.
A set of three hand-painted piggy banks in the classic Austrian Streublumen ("scattered flowers") tradition of the Gmunden potteries — little sprigs of red, yellow, and blue blooms tossed by hand across a creamy white ground, finished with green-tipped ears, a curly tail, and a rosy snout on the largest. They graduate from a generous parent down to two piglets, each with a coin slot on the back and a cork stopper beneath. Every piece is painted freehand, so no two are quite alike. A charming, hard-to-find graduated trio of European folk ceramic that you won't want to see broken up.
