An antique Dresden brass "all-holiday" wreath, the German figural wire-work known among collectors as Petites Choses: dozens of individually stamped brass charms wired to a circular brass ring and finished with a bow. Sourced from a 1900 estate in Westport, Connecticut, this piece carries genuine old-house provenance from right here in Fairfield County. Lions, elephants, camels, an owl, a swan, reindeer, a rooster and fox, even Santa's sleigh and a jack-o'-lantern share the ring, a whimsical mix of animals and seasonal motifs meant to hang year-round rather than just at Christmas. About 12" wide by 13" tall. A genuinely one-of-a-kind collectible with real old-world character and local history.
