A hand-stitched wool needlepoint footstool in the Victorian tradition, likely mid-20th century. The top is worked in deep teal-blue with scrolling rose garlands in blush and ivory — detailed, vibrant, and holding up beautifully. The solid hardwood base features a scalloped apron and petite cabriole legs in a warm honey finish.
Functional and genuinely decorative. Works as a footrest, low seat, or display surface.
Style: Victorian Revival | Era: c. 1940s–60s Materials: Wool needlepoint, solid hardwood Finish: Honey-toned, scalloped apron, cabriole legs Dimensions: 18"W × 11"D × 7.5"H
Condition: Very good vintage. Frame sturdy, needlepoint vibrant with minimal thread wear. A few small pulls near one corner and light finish rubs on the legs — nothing distracting.
A natural fit for grandmillennial, English country, or traditional interiors.
