A thirteen-piece hand-painted Talavera set from Puebla, Mexico: six matching scalloped plates, three pairs of cups in different patterns, and a creamer, all in cobalt, green and ochre over a speckled cream ground with the same thick yellow rim line running through everything. Set the table with it or stack it on open shelving. The cups being three pairs rather than six of one reads as collected over time, which is how most Talavera actually ends up in a house.
