A pair of obelisk-form display cases in glass with brass trim, each panel framed in metal and rising to a pointed cap, set on mirrored bases. Obelisks are one of the oldest decorative shapes in the book and they've been reworked by every glamorous era since — Deco, Hollywood Regency, and the brass-and-mirror seventies all claimed them.
Used as vitrines they turn small things into a collection: a single shell, a stack of intaglios, a pocket watch, a bloom under glass. Used empty they're pure architecture, and a matched pair flanking a mantel or bookshelf does more work than almost anything else at this size.
Sold as a pair, one of a kind, as everything here is.
