A hand-formed copper aftaba — the traditional Persian ewer used for ceremonial washing — with a beautifully developed verdigris and darkened copper patina. At 14" tall with an elegant long spout and side handle, it has real sculptural presence. The hand-worked surface, natural oxidation, and worn finish are exactly what serious collectors and decorators are after.
Origin is likely Persian or broader Middle Eastern. Consistent with early-to-mid 19th century metalwork. Not watertight — decorative and collectible use only.
