A porcelain vase from the "Blütenfest" (= "Blossom Festival") range – designed by British designer Rosemunde Nairac for Thomas Porzellan (Rosenthal group) – fine German bone china – glossy snow white – decorated with a vivid abstract relief pattern like the ocean's surf – cylindrical with an elegant oval shape – without any Kitsch – created around 1970.
Manufacturer: Porzellanfabrik F. Thomas, Marktredwitz, Bavaria/Germany.
Artist/Design: Rosemunde Nairac (often misspelled Rosamunde. *1938 in GB, Nairac studied at the Royal College of Art/London. She worked as a freelancer with Rosenthal from 1966 on).
Material: Porcelain.
Piece is marked on bottom: Green stamp "Thomas GERMANY" and impressed form number "304 10".
Measures (approx.): 4" tall x 2 1/4" wide
In excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks and still in original box.
Vase will be packaged carefully with recycled materials to ensure safe delivery.
