This striking vintage basket originates from Palawan, Philippines, where it was traditionally used to carry bolos and knives. Known locally as a sibat basket, it's expertly woven from split rattan with a distinctive double-weave pattern and rests on a hand-carved hardwood base. The sculptural form, narrow profile, and rich natural tones make it a stunning decorative accent on a shelf or console.
